Flight Attendants should follow normal call out procedures to Crew Scheduling immediately when unable to report for duty.
Please follow up with Inflight Dependability by submitting your bereavement requests within 24 hours of the start of your missed assignment through the appropriate channel to Inflight Dependability.
Whether the bereavement is paid or not is determined by the legal relationship with the person that was lost as outlined in the CBA.
Documentation for bereavement is always required, such as the obituary, death certificate, celebration of life or memorial service announcement.
For unpaid funerals, if you wish to use unscheduled vacation time, you must submit an email to F9FAPAYROLL@FLYFRONTIER.COM as soon as possible to ensure timely processing of payroll.
