Chicago Midway International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the nation and the second-busiest airport both in the Chicago Metropolitan Area and the state of Illinois, serving 20,844,860 customers in 2019. MDW recieved its name in honor of the Battle of Midway of World War II. 

Chicago Midway is located on at 5700 S. Cierro Ave. Chicago, IL 60638. 

The airport consists of three (3) concourses; Concourse A, B, and C. Frontier Airlines currently operates out of Concourse C and utilizes the C gates.

KCM is located in the Main Terminal at the Main Checkpoint Employee Lane. The hours for this KCM station are 0430-1900.

  • Pet Relief Area: Chicago Midway International Airport has two pet relief areas. The outdoor facility is a fenced-in area with benches and bags provided for pet owners. The indoor facility is a centrally-located small room outfitted with fake grass and a pet parent sitting area. The outdoor facility is located before flight check-in and security, but travelers need not re-enter security to use the indoor option.
  • Mother's Room - A Mother's Rooms is available at MDW. This amenity offers a clean andChicago O'Hare Airport now has special breastfeeding room - Stuck at the  Airport comfortable room for traveling mothers to nurse, use a breast pump or care for young children. This room is located in Concource C, next to the Yoga room. 
  • Lactation Pod - Lactation pods provide a safe, private space for mothers to nurse or pump while on the go. The pods at Midway were developed by Mamava, a nationwide developer of lactation suites for offices and transportation hubs. This pod is located in concourse A, next to gate A5. 
  • Airport Art - Chicago's airports have long served as a canvas for the City's public arts with an emphasis on local and global interests. The City of Chicago's world-renowned Public Art Program is reflected in dozens of sculputures, paintings, murals and exhibits at Midway International Airport.

Chicago Transit Authority - Transit is the easiest way to get to Chicago airports; there’s no need to pay for parking or taxis when you ride with CTA. The CTA provides the ‘L’ (train) service directly to both O'Hare and Midway airports. Machines at the station issue new Ventra Cards or load fare or passes onto cards.
